BLACK MIRROR
The “BLACK MIRROR” (Item 4041) is a black plate glass, used by Old Masters especially in landscape painting. The subject of the painting is reflected in the glass in black and in other different warm grey tones. This particular type of reflection simplifies the landscape’s reproduction.
